Cina, Sitiawan we finally found and successfully recognised the best 4-generations Ling’s family home-cooked signatures in “Ah Pek Lee Kou Hock” still running on the same ground since year 1940s.

The Perak local originated Mr. Ling Hock Beng (born 1954), together with his wife Madam Beh Ah Luan (3rd generation) both were the founders of this best recommended Sitiawan’s Kg. Cina Authentic Village Seafood eating place “Ah Pek Lee Kou Hock”. Being recently running into their next generation son & daughters (4th generation) Ling Keong Seong (born 1977), Ling Siew Hiong (born 1981) and Ling Siew Ing (born 1986) continue presenting their very home recipe village seafood menus to the locals & visitors under the same roof.

Keong Seong’s great-grandfather (Ah Pek), the 1st generation, who began his f&b career in Kg. Cina, Sitiawan in year 1940s serving his local’s Palm/Coconut Wine with some home-cooked seafood eateries. Later-on been continued by Keong Seong’s grandfather (2nd generation) in year 1960s, also assisted by Hock Beng (Keong Seong’s father) then he fully stepped into the career since 1980s and moved into wooden eating stall named “Lee Kou Hock”. In the memories of the founder, Hock Beng in year 1987 successfully established their family’s very first and owned chinese seafood restaurant officially registered on “Ah Pek Lee Kou Hock Seafood Restoran”.

While Ling Keong Seong and younger sisters Siew Hiong & Siew Ing, the 4th generation (also the current owners), whose also since kids being touched the field helping parents in the restaurant made them in year 2010 fully stepped into the career, then year 2015 took up the responsibility to continue serving their home recipes under the same roof on the same ground at Kg. Cina, Sitiawan (Perak). Also being recognised among the best by f&b e-media in year 2018.

In this Ah Pek Lee Kou Hock, the owners’ very first top recommended in menus surely will be their local’s most famous “Deep Fried Bului” which being served since his great-grandfather on their home-cooked recipe that neither found better elsewhere in town. Local exclusive sea Bului Fish selected & cleaned, then simple marinated on their secret ingredients mixture, followed by deep fried to golden-yellow in colour will brings excellent crispy bites, wonderful fish freshness and amazing Bului Fish’s bites taste you must try when reached Sitiawan, Perak.

Secondly will be their “Butter Sotong” or Squids, which also among the locals favourite recently. Fresh white sea squids selected, floured-up in recipes, followed up in deep fried, then seconds stir-fried with combinations of butter and fresh evaporated milk (carnation milk) mixed into curry leaves will brings a plate of delicious & fresh seafood eatery you cannot aside here. Especially the squid’s chewing bites and the freshness taste itself into mouth.

Another will be their very signature “Claypot Curry Fish”, which also among the restaurant’s daily top seller like by their regular customers. Local sea Grouper Fish Fillet or Fish Head on customer’s option, 20 minutes cooked in their in-house made curry paste (from 10 ingredients spices), boiled into soup broth with mixtures of long beans, eggplants, lady fingers & pineapples, finally served boiled in claypot with poured onto slight fresh milk brings unbelievable smooth exotic curry taste and sticky curry soup broth in sweet & sour taste you will never regret after tasted here. It will be totally different from the others in town that you should like it.

Moreover, the 4th generation brother & sisters (recent owners) also strongly introduced their newly famous selection “Thai Style Four Heavenly Kings” pot of soup which most wanted recently in the eating place. The mixtures of local fresh Ming Prawns, Clams, Sea Squids and Sea Fish (on customer’s option) cooked in their home prepared soup base made from Thai Sauce Paste, Laksa Flowers & Limes, then served boiled in metal pot/platter and into some chilli padi really brings a pot of amazing & wonderful appertising sour, sweet & fair spicy seafood freshness eatery that you really cannot missed when stepped into this best recognised Kg.
