The founder Theng Tiam Chai, who at his age of 39 years old currently, all the while having interest in eatery (Hokkien Mee) & culinary been initially stepped into the f&b industry at his 16th of age in year 1996 began as a kitchen trainee touched the PJ Charcoal Fried Hokkien Mee at Selangor experienced few years in the field. Then started his very simple beginning noodle stall in a chinese coffee shop (Kopitiam) at Petaling Jaya SS2, and later-on moved to Puchong, Selangor stayed another few years there.

In order to further his exposure in the career, added with the experiences & recipes on-hand and foreseeing the market opportunity in the f&b industry locally. Also wishing to have his very own noodle house enabled Tiam Chai decided then successfully established (together with wife Elaine Yong) their very first owned eating house named the “Restoran Qi Yun Lou” at Merdeka Permai, Malacca in year 2014, then another outlet at Bukit Beruang in year 2016. Finally being recognised among the best in town by the F&B E-Media for the year 2019 in the middle southern nation.
