The founder cum owner Chef Madam Gan Bee Kim, who at her age of 56 years old currently, all the while having interest in eatery & culinary initially stepped into the f&b industry at her 43rd of age began as a kitchen trainee joined a peranakan cuisine restaurant locally at Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock, Malacca where she experienced in the field then positioned as a Nyonya Cuisine Chef within a year, and stayed about 8 years exposed in the career.

With experiences and recipes on-hand, added with vision to have her very own eating house locally and foreseeing the market opportunity in the f&b industry especially on Peranakan/Nyonya Cuisine in the heritage city made Madam Gan decided then successfully established her very first owned Peranakan Cuisine Eating House with her younger son Khoon Leong running on the same floor officially named the “Our Nyonya Restaurant” (Our Kitchen Nyonya Restaurant) along the Jalan Hang Lekir, Malacca in the year 2017 introducing all their home-cooked local authentic traditional nyonya recipes to the public. Finally being recognised among the best in town by the Malaysian F&B E-Media for the year 2021 in the middle southern nation.

In Our Kitchen Nyonya Restaurant, the owner’s very first top recommended in menus will be their signature “Pork Ponteh” which among the visitor’s most wanted in the local peranakan/nyonya recipes option.
