The founder cum first owner Tan Yong Wah, who at his age of 52 years old currently, having great interest in the baking/pastries been initially touched the f&b industry since his 17th of age in the year 1986 began as a baking/pastry trainee in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah then positioned as a Baker stayed more than 20 years in the field before stepped into the Construction Industry (assisting families) for another more than 10 years in the state respectively.

With vision to have his very own eating & pastries house locally, added with the experiences & recipes on-hand and foreseeing the market opportunity in the f&b industry in this century’s trends made Yong Wah (with wife Mui Ling) finally decided and later-on successfully established their newly Hong Kong Roasted & Pastries Restaurant officially named the “Tasty Bolo Bakery Coffee Shop” along the Inanam Kapital, Sabah. Bodied-up with his younger brother Yong Keong (with more than 10 years in Cantonese Roasted Mix) assisted by nephew Nicholas Koh, introducing their signature menus on foods & beverages to the public. And being recognised among the best in town by the Malaysian F&B E-Media for the year 2021 in the Eastern Malaysia nation.

In this Tasty Bolo, the owners’ very first top recommended in menus surely will be their “Signature Herbal Roasted Duck” which most wanted by their regulars all the while.
