Mr. Koh Tong Fong who origin from Pontian, Johor with age of 60 years old currently is the founder and together with his lovely wife Madam Lua Siew Choo are the owners of the Johor famous Wan Tan Mee restaurant named “Restoran Uncle Koh” having 3 outlets in state of Johor operating together with brother and sons.

Uncle Koh who formerly do not knowing cooking initially stepped into the food and beverage industry in the year 1988 at his age of about 34 years old with wife established their very first kopitiam in Holiday Plaza serving local food and drinks for about 8 years till year 1996 moved to an food court in Johor Bahru operating their food stall continue expose in the industry, from there their started presenting one of the Chinese tradition recipe wantan mee and later on realise the market opportunity and having improving demand makes the couple decided to concentrating path to focus serving wantan mee to the public.  Due to great response and to further explore, they successfully moved and established their wantan mee stall again in the ‘Lucky Town Restoran’ at Taman Univertity in the year 2003 till recent operating by wife and son.

Subsequent to the great supports by locals and visitors, Uncle Koh enabled to established his very first and owned wantan mee restaurant at Taman Ungku Tun Aminah, Johor in the year 2009 named famously “Restoran Uncle Koh” Wan Tan Mee specialize shop recently to be the main branch operating by himself and son.  Due to huge volume demand usage on the wantan ‘Mee’ itself, years ago in year about 1994 Uncle Koh and brother have their own hand made egg mee produce by themselves with own recipe and later on 2nd generated to Uncle Koh’s son Mr. Koh Zi Hang (2nd son) who stepped into the industry since his age of 22 years old.  While elder son Mr. Tony Koh handling the operation management of the main and outlet. Brother Koh Tong Kia with wife Chin Wah Yen also operating his outlet wantan mee stall in ‘Xuan Hwa Kopitiam’ at Taman Sri Tebrau, Johor.

In Uncle Koh Restaurant, his own home recipe hand made ‘Wan Tan Mee’ of course will be the top recommended menu which served in choices of soup which soup base boiled with chicken bones, ikan bilis & soya  and dry or known ‘Kon Lou’ which also with choices of white (original kon lou recipe), black (soya sauce recipe) and red (chili sauce recipe). While in mee choices itself they have round (Yiu Mee) or flat (Mee Poh), served topped with Char Siew and boiled Wan Tan wrapped inside with fresh hand made pork minced.  For side dishes, they presenting the deep fried Dumpling which wrapped inside with mixed fresh pork, prawn and vege brings the best eatery when bites also the most wanted by the regulars. Besides, the Fried Wan Tan too cannot missed when step into Uncle Koh restaurant.  Moreover, they also presenting their home recipe Braised Chicken Feet with Mushroom which can served with their hand made wan tan Mee.
