The Melacca origin, Mr. Lessly Pan Lee Kong who born in year 1974 having more than 20 years experience in food industry is the founder with wife, are the owners of the five outlets famous “Big Bowl Restaurant” mee house serving the public.

Lessly who with age of 40 this year grown up in Pahang initially stepped into the f&b industry since year 1990 recruited himself into an chinese cuisine restaurant as kitchen trainee in Taman Ungku Tun Aminah, Johor started his career journey.  Later on get involved in food ingredients supply for about two years before he went Singapore to further expose his career in the year 1994 re-stepped into kitchen for another six subsequent years.  From there, Lessly realised the market opportunity and in order to grap the chance in explosure, he decided to return to home country and in the millenium year 2000 established his very first owned food stall in the ‘Wang Dian Restaurant’ at Masai, Johor presenting his own recipe Mee Hun Kuey or currently known as Pan Mee by others with his main topic ‘Fried Fish Mee Hun Kuey’.

While his lovely wife Ms. Jenifur Tan Siew Kiew who is local Johor origin formerly was in professional Marketing field assisiting husband in their food stall initially during her off duty time.  Until in the year 2001, after six months husband operated the food stall, Jenifur sacrisfied her profession and stepped into the food and beverage industry with husband further their mission. According to the both founders, due to from beginning they served their mee hun kuey in a giant bowl, a best friend of them called it big bowl mee hun kuey therefore they officially name it “Big Bowl”.

Subsequent to the great response from the public and visitors, Lessly and wife successfully explore further to establish their very 1st restaurant after a year at Jalan Dedap, Taman Johor Jaya later on moved to the recent venue at Jalan Bakawali, Johor until today.  Results from their patient and aggresive manner in the career, they having total of 5 outlets recently at Taman Johor Jaya, Taman Pelangi, Taman Sutera Utama, Mount Austin and Permas Jaya to serve various choices of their mee hun kuey menus.

In the Big Bowl Restaurant, their Fried Fish Mee Hun Kuey will be the top recommended  signature menu must try.  Soup base which boiled for 8 hours with giant bones, ikan bilis mixed their home recipe ingredients brings the best eatery taste.  This fried fish mee hun kuey served insided fish ball, fresh pork slice, pork minced, mali veges topped with crispy ikan bilis and fried onion sided by their signature deep fried Dolly Fish fillet will be the perfect match.  Secondly will be their Fried Meat Ball Mee Hun Kuey, made using fresh hand made pork meat deep fried with home recipe served together with fried pork minced topped on mee hun kuey also cannot missed in the restaurant.  Others, their home recipe Dumpling Mee Hun Kuey which made mixed of fresh prawn and pork meat also one of the most wanted by their regulars and visitors which will served with black vinegar ginger.  Moreover, for those who like spicy can try their home recipe curry chicken potato mee or tom yam topped with fresh big prawn.  Nonetheless, their Laksa Mee Hun also one of the best choice in the restaurant which cook bowl by bowl from their secret laksa paste and served inside with local shell or known ‘si ham’, chicken, taufu pok, bean sprout, prawn and fried ‘dou gan’ brings the exotic eatery.
