“Food Centre” or commonly known by the Malaysian “Food Court” is the recent famously practised in the industry along the west nation putting varieties under a roof to suit the market trend.  Also here in the east, we found and being recognised one of the recommended food centre “Premier Food Junction” in Kuching, Sarawak carried by the Premier Food group currently running 4 oulets in the Cat City with most of their local delicacies.

The local Sarawakians Mr. Sim Wui Lian (born 1976) who originated from Kuching, together with his lovely wife Ms. Anna Ma Sian Na (born 1976) both were the founders and immediate owners of the well known “Premier Food Junction” eating centre presenting various local delicay eateries in a court, introduced to the locals and visitors in Kuching, Sarawak.

Mr. Sim Wui Lian who formerly in Electrical Industry at his age of 39 years old currently, stepped into the f&b industry with his wife Anna Ma, who formerly an Administrator, since year 2006 in the Cat City established their very first and owned food centre named “Happy Valley Garden” at Jalan Datuk Abang Abdul Rahim, Kuching began their career and bringing most of the local favourite foods under a roof.

Later on subsequent to the positive response, and foreseen the market opportunity in the f&b industry allowed the couple to run another outlet named “Premier 101 Food Centre” along Jalan Tun Jugah after few years in 2009.  Then the third “Premier Food Republic” at Kota Samarahan in year 2014.  And newly established conceptual “Premier Food Junction” at Icom Square, Jalan Pending in 2015 with most of the selected eateries differ from the others in the city enabled to be recognised as the best in town.  All group under the “Premier Food” branding.

In this food centre, the owner Anna firstly recommended their local Sarawakian’s favourite Fook Chew Red Wine Mee Sua which served on 5 pax in a giant “Big Bowl”, also to be the 1st into the Cat City.  Soup base boiled with home recipes into red wine, cooked insided mixed with fine noodles (mee sua), topped with chicken drumstick and boiled chicken egg then served in very big bowl you must try when reached Kuching, Sarawak.

Secondly will be their Sarawak Kolo Mee, which is one of the local Kuching’s delicacy favourites by the locals, also must try for those visitors when stepped into this Cat City.  Homemade round noodles boil-cooked, then mixed with home recipe sauce and topped with pork minced and roasted pork (char siew) to be the traditional serves of a bowl of “Kolo Mee”.  But here in “Premier Food Junction”, you can taste the special one with fresh sea prawn and stick clams you never regret after taken.

Another will be the Homemade Fish Ball Noodles, which among the top seller in the food centre.  Fresh handmade fish ball and fish paste prepared from Xi Tao Fish and Yellow Tail Fish mixtures, boil-cooked in soup base, served sided with soy sauce noodles you cannot aside.  And the Deep Fried Fish Cake, will be the must taken sided with main course.

Of course cannot forget the Sarawak Laksa, which also one of the East Malaysia’s delicacy likes by the Sarawakians.  Soup base boiled with traditional laksa paste made in home recipes, commonly served insided mixed with rice noodles (mee hun), topped with fried egg shredded, chicken shredded, beansprouts and fresh prawn brings really authentic eatery cannot missed in Sarawak.

Moreover, the Hokkien Fried Noodles or known “Hokkien Mee” in the west also among the signature in the food centre which prepared in cantonese recipe.  Big round noodle selected, stir-fried with home recipe black soy sauce, mixed into deep fried pork oily and meat slices, prawn & veges etc will be the best in town.  Also their Fried Rice with Mali Veges, only in “Premier Food Junction”.

Nonetheless, the owner Anna also took the opportunity to introduce her favourites Coconut Milk Rice or locally known Nasi Lemak.  Taken hot tasty coconut milk boiled rice sided with exotic spicy paste (sambal) brings the best eatery if taken also with curry or rendang chicken you really cannot missed when stepped into this “Premier Food Junction” restaurant in Kuching, Sarawak.
