The founder Mr. Sunny Lee who all the while as a Self-Employed for more than 20 years in home country Singapore, having great interest in eatery, also been years living rounded by friends who are in the f&b industry having their food centre respectively enabled Sunny to experience the field , added with his foreseen the market opportunity in the industry allowed him finally made the decision to step into the career in year 2008 established his very first food centre in Hougang named “3838 Eating Place”, still running currently.

While Sunny’s wife, Claire Chua who formerly more than 20 years in the Finance Industry, initially stepped into the f&b industry since year 2010 where their very owned food centre began at Queen Street, Singapore running with 8 food stalls under the roof all serving their home recipes respectively. And being highly recognised by the locals and visitors as the best in years 2006.

In this “3838 Eating Place”, the owner’s first top recommended among the best will be their Mongolian Pork Ribs which presented by their own seafood stall. Selected pork ribs marinated with their in-house recipes mixture, followed by deep fried to maintain the meat’s texture, then finally served after seconds stir-fried with their home recipe mongolian gravy sauce brings the best authentic sweet & exotic pork ribs you must try when reached Singapore. Neither found the similar elsewhere in town, as per the owners.

Secondly will be their visitor’s favourites, also among their daily top seller “Salted Egg Squid”. Fresh deep sea squids commonly selected, coated with their in-house recipe flour followed by deep fried, then served after a minute stired with their chef’s homemade salted egg yolk paste brings really fair sweet & salty taste you cannot aside, especially the excellent crispy bites into mouth.
