Into the 21st century, “Salted Egg Yolk” being one of the local’s favourite eatery served combination either with seafoods, veges or meats which practised by most of the restaurants on respective recipes. The Negeri Sembilan originated couple Ms. Suzann Kwan Pau Lien (born 1962), together with her husband Mr. Wong Yeen Kuang both were the founders and immediate owners of the recommended chinese seafood eating house “Restoran Lapan Puluh Tiga” at Bandar Baru Sri Petaling introducing all their signature salted egg yolk dishes, golden noodles and other chinese seafood selections to the locals and visitors since year 2004, having great response from the market recently.


Ms. Suzann Kwan who previously all the while in Sales & Marketing industry, having great interest in chefing & eatery, also with the mission to have their own eating house, added with the support from husband Yeen Kuang allowed them initially stepped into the f&b industry in year 2004 successfully established their couple’s very 1st and owned chinese seafood restaurant named “Restoran 83″ at Sri Petaling, serving most of their home self-studies recipe menus. Later-on introducing their home-fried “Salted Egg Yolk Mee Hoon” as one of their restaurant’s well-known menu today.


In this Restoran 83, the owners’ very first top recommended in menus surely will be their super signature “Salted Egg Yolk Mee Hoon” (rice noodles). High quality 45 days marinated salted duck egg yolk selected, steam-cooked before prepared in yolk paste, then fried with tiny rice noodles (mee hoon) and mixed into pork slice, curry leafs, fresh shrimp etc brings excellent smooth salted egg yolk salty and ‘wok’ taste into mouth that you must try when reached here Kuala Lumpur.


Secondly will be their “Golden Noodles” or locally named Golden Fried Sang Mee, which among the Restoran 83′s special menu most wanted by their regular customers. Their in-house made special sauce from combination of dried black beans prepared into paste, added with other 5 secret ingredient spices, served poured onto 15 minutes steamed local fresh Talapia fish and finally topped with chopped spring onions & chilli padi brings excellent appertising spicy and fish freshness taste you will never regret after tasted.
