The local originated Mr. Lee Juan Sian who born in year 1979, the 2nd generation, together with his father Mr. Lee Kok Hwa (born 1957) and wife Ms. Ng Pooi Shin (born 1991) are the owners of the recommended best hokkien mee house “Gombak Hokkien Mee” at Bandar Puteri Puchong serving their 30 years 2-generations home recipe hokkien mee and other signature menus to the public in manner, also having great response from the market recently.

Lee Juan Sian, who at his age of only 38 years old currently, being touched his family’s career since kids helping father (Lee Kok Hwa, began his hokkien mee stall in 1987 at Gombak) in their noodle stall at Gombak, also being passed onto home recipe afterwards allowed him to fully step into the field in year 2016 running his very owned noodles stall at Meranti Jaya, Selangor continue serving their family authentic hokkien mee as the main.

After 2 years, Juan Sian who all the while having great interest in eatery & chefing, with the vision to further expose their home recipe hokkien mee eatery and added with his wishing to have his very own noodle house made him successfully established his very first restaurant at Bandar Puteri Puchong registered as “Gombak Hokkien Mee” in year 2018, being assisted by family not only introducing their 30 years hokkien mee recipe but also their grilled seafoods and other noodle selections to the locals under a roof.

In this Gombak Hokkien Mee restaurant, the owner’s first top recommended in menus surely will be their more than 30 years family’s authentic “Traditional Hokkien Mee”. Handmade rough-round flour noodles selected, fried with black soy sauce that prepared in-house, mixed into fresh pork slices, shrimps, fish cake, veges, then served topped with homemade deep-fried pork lard cubes brings excellent delicious hokkien mee you must taste. Especially the handmade noodle’s QQ bites texture itself, and the exotic wok taste never found better elsewhere, again taken with their homemade belacan paste provided.

Secondly will be their signature “Moonlight Keow Teow”, which also among the noodle house’s best recommended menu by Lee’s family. Flat rice noodles (keow teow) fried with soy sauce spices mixed with egg, fresh pork slices and in-house pork lard, then finally served topped with a raw chicken egg poured onto completely brings unbelievable smooth eatery when swallowed into mouth you cannot aside.

Another will be their self-creation menu which only in Gombak Hokkien Mee, the “Egg Soup Mee Suah”. Soup base boiled with ginger shredded and slight rice wine poured into, cooked with fine noodles (mee suah), then served topped with pan-fried chicken egg brings the awesome combination soup noodles you will never regret after tasted. Especially the soup taste itself brings exotic ginger spice & egg freshness when swallowed.

Other than noodle selections, their home recipe “Grill Fish / Seafood” will also among the restaurant’s daily top seller favourite by their visitors. Seafood options of fish (stingray), squids or clams being grill-cooked with their in-house sauce paste that made from more than 10 ingredients mixture, then served with sambal lady fingers. Taken with their homemade belacan paste sided with chopped onions shredded & lime brings the best appertising slight spicy taste in town.

Nonethelss, they also taken the opportunity to introduce their “Claypot Lou Shi Fan” among signatures.
