“Chicken Shredded Noodles” or locally known ‘Kai Shi Hor Fun’ by the cantonese religious famously taken in the northen nation, also among one of the local delicacy eatery in Ipoh (Perak). But here in the southern, we found and being successfully recognised the “Togetherness Cafe” which carried by the youngsters presenting their authentic Chicken Shredded Noodles to the locals having great response recently.

The Yong Peng originated Mr. Koh Jin Ming (born 1990), together with his girlfriend Ms. Elaine Ng Kim Yok (Batu Pahat, born 1992) both were the founders and current owners of this recommended asian cuisine restaurant “Togetherness Cafe” at Taman Banang, Johor introducing most of their family’s home recipe signature menus to the locals and visitors under manner environment since year 2018.

Koh Jin Ming who at his age of only 28 years old recently, is a Graphic Designer exposed years in Singapore then initially touched the f&b industry in year 2017 running his part-time Lok-Lok food stall in Batu Pahat. While Elaine Ng who been few years experienced in western cuisine field under-employed in Singapore, all the while having great interest in eatery & chefing, added with Jin Ming’s vision to have their very owned cafe restaurant and supports from father (Mr. Koh Chee Keng), plus foreseeing the market opportunity in the f&b industry finally in year 2018 decided to fully stepped into the career then established their very first asian cuisine cafe restaurant named “Togetherness Cafe” in Batu Pahat, Johor.

In this “Togetherness” asian cuisine cafe, the owners’ first top recommended in menus surely will be their “Signature Chicken Shredded Noodles”. In-house soup base boiled about 4-5 hours with pork, chicken & soy beans, cooked mixed with fine flat rice noodles (Sar Ho Fun) also known ‘Kueh Teow Kia’ locally, then served topped with fresh prawns, boiled chicken meats shredded, beansprouts, chopped spring onions and deep-fried onions brings wonderful rice noodle’s tasty, chicken meat’s bites texture and freshness soup swallowed into mouth you must try.

Secondly will be their “Dry Curry Pork Trotter”, which originated from founder Jin Ming’s mother home recipe. Home recipe curry paste prepared in-house from 8 spices mixture, stir-fried with local fresh pork trotter then boiled minutes and finally served without coconut milk nor fresh milk poured into brings excellent curry taste and texturing trotter’s bites you will neither found better elsewhere in town.

Another will be their best recommended on western/asian combination, the “Deep Fried Chicken Chop” which favourite by the visitors recently. Chicken drumstick prepared in boneless, marinated overnight with home recipes, flour-up then followed by about 8-10 minutes deep fried into golden yellow in colour finally served sided with potato fries/rice, salad and sauce brings a complete set of “Togetherness Chicken Chop” you cannot aside.

While in traditional chinese cuisine corner, the owner also introduced his family’s generation recipe “Steamed Pork Belly with Preserved Veges” that most wanted by their regular customers. Local fresh pork belly selected, boiled & deep fried then prepared in cutted huge slices, followed with overnight marinated with garlic, black bean paste, ginger etc. Finally steam-cooked for an hour mixed with preserved veges brings unbelievable delicious Hakka’s traditional eatery you will never regret after tasted here.

Nonetheless, the owners also taken this opportunity to introduce their “Pepper Pork Stomach Soup” that recently among restaurant’s daily top seller with limited serves. Cleaned pig’s stomach & pork ribs boiled few hours with their home soup base mixed into quality pepper seeds, then served after an hour steamed brings exotic soup taste which you really cannot missed when stepped into this chinese & asian cuisine cafe restaurant “Togetherness Cafe” at Taman Banang, Batu Pahat (Johor).
