The founder cum first owner Mr. Tang Chong Kee, who at his age of 67 years old currently, all the while having interest in eateries & culinary been initially stepped into the f&b industry at his 16th of age began as a kitchen trainee at Kuala Lumpur in the year 1969 touched the chinese cuisine field. Also been reached Tawau, Sabah to further his exposure in the chinese culinary career with patients before returned to hometown Perak, stayed & continued his career at Pantai Remis for another few years there all the while experienced in the chinese cuisine field.

With experiences & recipes on-hand, added with vision to have his own eating house locally and foreseeing the market opportunity in the f&b industry wishing to expose further in the career allowed Tang Chong Kee to decide then successfully established his very first owned chinese cuisine eating place (with wife Koh Da Hiok) right along the Pantai Remis township in the year 1983 officially named the “Restoran Ling Song Kee”, introducing all their in-house chef’s signatures to the locals for more than 30 years on the same ground. Later-on being moved & extended into their Premier Chinese Cuisine Big Restaurant at Medan Pantai Damai, Pantai Remis in the year 2018, the recent location which providing occasional &functional dinning up to thousand pax under a roof. Finally being recognised among the best in town by the F&B E-Media for the year 2020 in the middle northern nation.

In this Restoran Ling Song Kee, the owners’ very first top recommended in menus will be their famous “Pantai Steamed Silver Pomfret” which also the Pantai Remis’s delicacy signature selection most wanted by the visitors all the while.
