1Sabah local native Madam Celestina Tonduba, the founder and the immediate owner of the restaurant, recently 56 years old assisted by sons and daughter operating the “Lucky Restaurant” located at Donggongon, Penampang Sabah serving their famous pork noodle and bak kut teh.  Madam Celestina who formerly a fulltime housewife extremely interested in cooking decided to stepped into the industry established her very first restaurant in the early year 2013 with her son Mr. Steve Severinus Jimis with age 35 years old and daugther Ms. Audrey Severinus Jimis at age of 24 years.

Steve who formerly underemployed in transportation industry stepped into the food & beverage industry when he started to learn from his uncle cum master Mr. Bruce Patrick, who an experienced chef exposed 14 years in Korea.  While Audrey too joined mother and brother operating their owned restaurant at penampang serving the locals their signature food non-stop 24 hours a day.

 

2In the restaurant, the top recommended menu will be their Korean style home recipe pork mixed noodle soup or famously known ‘chu chap’.  More than an hour boiled soup base inside combination of pork bones and their home recipe ingredient is the secret of exotic taste.  Serving chu chap made up of the mixture of noodle and fresh pork meat with pork internal parts are their visitors most wanted.  Besides, they also presenting their signature local home recipe ‘bak kut teh’, which also one of the top famous chinese generation food in Malaysia.  Using about 20 ingredients with herbals to boil more than 1 1/2 hours soup base inside served together with pork internal parts, pork meat and pork ribs will be also the recommended in Lucky Restaurant.  Moreover, other than pork, their home made recipe asam pedas fish head taste sour and spicy too the locals favourite.  The asam pedas sauce boiled from their home recipe asam paste made up from more than 10 ingredients bringing the exotic taste and suite not only locals but also tourists.
