In Johor Bahru, there will be an recommended Claypot House not only serving their own recipe Claypot Chicken Rice but also the signature Sizzling Chicken Curry Mee which wanted by locals and visitors.  Mr. Kelvin Wong Teck Chye born 1983 and Mr. Alvin Lim Kwan Teen born 1984 both local origin are the founders and recent owners of the claypot house named “LV Food and Beverage” at Skudai, Johor.

Kelvin Wong who from f&b based family stepped into the industry initially helping in relative’s bak kut teh food stall at Taman Johor Jaya since his age of 14 years old, later on quit the industry after a year and re-entered to food & beverage career experienced in roasted pork belly supply before further exposed into Hainan Chicken Rice at age of 17 years old under-employed in Restoran Nasi Ayam Silver Spoon at Plentong, Johor.  While in the year about 2002 at his age of 19 years old eventually touched claypot chicken rice when he joined ‘Yung Kee Claypot Rice’ at Permas Jaya, Johor experienced and further exposed his career.  Subsequent to his interest in claypot rice and grapped the chances from former employer, Kelvin Wong successfully take over the operation and ownership of the claypot rice business at his age of 21 years old.  Until 2014 formed with Alvin Lim operating their currently claypot house in Johor Bahru.

While Alvin Lim who recently an excellent on-going active enterpreneur in construction industry, secondary schoolmate with Kelvin Wong interested in eatery and realise the market opportunity in food and beverage industry started their joining partnership business planning since year 2010 later on successfully established their own recipe claypot house known “LV Food and Beverage” in the year 2014 commenced his second enterpreneurship.

In this claypot house, for sure their signature Claypot Chicken Rice will be the top recommended in menu which served in claypot mixed with fresh chicken, chinese sausage and salted fish boiled using their recipe chicken soup base and home recipe sauce for 15-18 minutes before served on table brings the exotic eatery.  Secondly will be their Sizzling Mee or famously Sizzling Curry Chicken Mee.  Using ‘fook chew mee’ fried on sizzling pan before boiled with their secret recipe curry chicken will be their in house method presenting the different taste eatery.  Others in side dishes choice, you should cannot missed their traditional recipe Vinegar Port Trotter braised in home recipe also one of the most wanted by their regulars.  Moreover, the Yellow Wine Chicken pot boiled insided fresh chicken with their recipe sause and mixed rice wine topped with ginger slice brings the best food taste.  In soup corner, there are several choices of steamed soup can found in the claypot house such watercress pork ribs soup, white carrot pork ribs soup, matured cucumber pork ribs soup, lotus ground nuts chicken feet soup etc which boiled then steamed for hours must taste.
