‘Charcoal Roast’ is the chinese traditional way in roasted industry, presenting by the Taiping, Perak origin Mr. Sam Che Wai Kong who born in the year 1973 is the founder and together with elder brother Mr. Jacky Che Wai Man are the recent owners of the famous roast house “Sin Ma Roast Hainan Chicken Rice” in Johor, Malaysia.

Sam Che who with age of 41 years old currently stepped into the food industry by recruited himself into the ‘Wu Ping Chinese Restaurant’ as kitchen trainee in Tampoi, Johor in the year 1988 since 15 years old. Later Sam left home country arrived Singapore in year 1989 began his hong kong style roast career learns from the roast chef in ‘Long Yellow Village’ restaurant for about 2 years, then under employed by “Yee Shun Seafood Village” restaurant as roast chef further expose his profession in Singapore for another 12 years. After captured all the roasted skills and recipes in roast career, Sam explore further in five star hotel’s Chinese cuisine restaurant in Concord Hotel, Singapore experienced food presentation to sharpen his profession for a year.

While in the year 2004, Sam been invited by a local famous Chinese restaurant in Singapore named ‘Xian Xi Lou’ restaurant as main roast chef incharged of 5 outlet’s roasted corner for about 4 years before he quit and established his entrepreneurship.  He tried twice in Singapore operating his owned roast food stall to experience before returned to Malaysia together with brother Jacky Che established their very first owned roast house “Sin Ma Roast Hainan Chicken Rice” in Taman Setia Indah, Johor Bahru in the year 2013.

Jacky Che who born in the year 1969 with age 45 currently, formerly about 20 years experience in glass industry at Singapore having interest in food and beverage stepped into the industry in the year 2013 formed with Sam operating their Sin Ma roast house. Later on exposed to second outlet in the same year at Taman Desa Cemerlang, Johor.

In the roast house, Sam’s Singapore style charcoal roasted unmatured pig or known ‘Lu Chu’ will be the top signature presented by them in two flavour home recipe the black pepper and red taufu taste. Sam using baby pig with weight of 3-3.5kg roasted for an hour with his own recipe brings the exotic eatery, advanced order to be made if you want to try.  Secondly will be his roasted duck using 2.5-2.8kg weight fresh duck after half hour hong kong and singapore roasted style with 6 Sam’s secret ingredients will also the top recommended menu you never missed.  Topped with his secret recipe home sauce too the perfect match that you never regret after taken.  Other, their roasted pork belly also the most wanted by their regulars and visitors chewing in mouth and specially the crispy skinny part.  Moreover, the roasted chicken and new creation by Sam Che ‘Black Pepper Sesame Roasted Chicken’ which available newly in menu will be highly recommended when stepped into the roasted house.
