The Pahang originated Mr. Lee Ming Fuat who born in year 1979, together with wife Sandra Gan Xui Shan (born 1983) who is local Johorean both were the founders. And being bodied with Crystal Shang & husband, who is Sabahan all are the recent owners of the famous “Restaurant Happy Crab” at Johor Bharu serving their well known crab recipes selection and other chinese cuisines menu to the market since year 2014.
Lee Ming Fuat who at his age of only 37 years old currently, also the restaurant’s main Chef, initially stepped into this career since his age of about 22 years old in Singapore began as kitchen trainee touched the Japanese cuisine, then also experienced in Taiwanese and Chinese cuisines under employment as chef in Johor Bharu. Also been established his very first owned chinese restaurant at Desa Tebrau, Johor Bharu in year 2010 for about 5 years, ended due to circumstances.
While Sandra Gan who all the while in Crab Supplies Industry, having about 9 years experiences in the career all the while having great interest in eatery, husband’s experience in chefing, added with foreseen the market opportunity enabled to body-up with husband Ming Fuat, friend of her Crystal Shang couple, who also with vision to expose in f&b industry, in year 2014 successfully established their seafood and chinese eating house at Mount Austin named “Restaurant Happy Crab” emphasising their crabs selection to the public in manner.
In Happy Crab, the founder’s first top recommended in menus surely will be their crabs menu. Among the famous will be their Salted Egg Yolk Crab, which most wanted by regulars recently. Meat crabs imported from Indonesia selected, steam-cooked in about 7 minutes, then seconds fried with their homemade salted egg yolk paste mixed into curry leaf, butter milk and chef’s recipes mixture brings authentic sweet tasty eatery you must try when reached Johor Bharu.
