All three Chong brothers, Chu Chiang, Chu Eng and Chu Wah who all the while running in the Seafood Supplies & Retails industry more than 20 years in Johor Bahru with great interest in eatery, experiences in seafood industry, forseen the opportunity in the f&b field and added with the advantages on seafood raw supplies allowed the youngest brother Chu Wah came out with the suggestion to have their first step into the f&b industry initially in the south.

Sebsequently in year 2016, with vision to bring their hometown “Pantai Remis” recipes into the market and chances to body-up with Chef Lee (born 1978) holding about 25 years chefing experiences in the field, finally enabled them to successfully established their very 1st and owned eating house named “Pantai Remis Seafood Restaurant” at Taman Ungku Tun Aminah, Johor.

In this “Pantai Remis” seafood house, the chef’s first top recommended in menus surely will be their Signature Pantai Remis Abalone Seafood Porridge which serves in Teoh Chew style.  Fresh abalone and scallop firstly smoked for minutes, then topped onto their porridge, added with other seafoods as request and served mixed into with overnight boiled soup base prepared from mixtures of fish bones, pork bones & ikan bilis all hotted in claypot brings the best seafood abalone porridge you must try.  Especially the seafood freshness and recipe taste all the way from Pantai Remis delicacy eatery.

Another will be their Salted Egg Yolk Crab, which among the most favourites by their regulars.  Local sea crab selected in between 200-250grams in weight, boil-cooked in a minute, then seconds stir-fried with their chef’s salted egg yolk paste made in-house really brings authentic crab taste you will never regret after tasted.

Somemore, their Curry Fish Head which serves boiled in claypot also one of the restaurant’s top seller.  Grouper fish head or red fish head commonly used, cooked with home recipe curry paste made from 11 ingredients mixture then served mixed into cabbage, eggplant and long beans with poured into coconut milk brings excellent curry smoothness and exotic curry taste neither found the same elsewhere in the nation, according to the owners.
