The founder cum owner, also the restaurant’s Main Chef Chong Cheun Wah, who at his age of 32 years old currently, been initially stepped into the f&b industry at his age of 17th began as a kitchen trainee at hometown Kajang, Selangor in the year 2008 all the while experienced in the chinese cuisine field. Later-on being positioned as a Chinese Cuisine Chef at his about 22nd of age continue his exposure in the career along his journey with patience.

With experiences & recipes on-hand, added with vision to have his own eating house locally and foreseeing the market opportunity in the f&b industry especially on the Chinese Seafood Cuisine enabled Cheun Wah (together with wife Cristie Tan) bodied-up with mother & younger brother then successfully established their very first Family’s Chinese Seafood Restaurant officially named the “Fok Wah Seafood Restaurant” at Taman Semenyih Sentral in the year 2017 started with a single lot eating house, into now double-lots air-conditioned eating restaurant in year 2022 continue serving their signatures to the public. And finally being recognised among the best in town by the Malaysian F&B E-Media for the year 2023 on the middle nation at Selangor.

In this Fok Wah Seafood Restaurant, the owners’ very first top recommended in menus will be their famous “Curry Milk Seafood Pot” which most wanted by their regulars. Home-cooked curry into fresh milk, served boiling hot in claypot with mixtures of local fresh sea ming prawns (on about 30-40grams each), fish maws, squids, cuttlefish, mushrooms, homemade minced pork fillets & salted fish will be the best combination seafood pot eatery that brings tasty smooth curry milk swallowed with seafood’s freshness itself into mouth that you must have a try when reached Semenyih, Selangor.

Secondly will be their special “Signature Pork Ribs” or locally known the Dong Po Pork, which always among the chinese recipe selections favourite by the locals. Another will be their signature “River Prawn Cantonese Style Sang Mee”, which among the restaurant’s daily seafood noodle option wanted by the visitors. Local-made sang mee (round flour noodles) prepared in crispy deep fried, served toppings with local fresh river prawns (on weight of about 300grams each), and poured onto with their stired gravy sauce broth (prepared from their whole day long boiled soup base) into mixtures of spring onions, gingers & chicken egg will brings the authentic cantonese style noodle with river prawn’s freshness texture bites itself that you will neither found the same elsewhere in town here.

Nonetheless, the owners also introduced their all time favourite recommended “Dry Butter Talapia Fish” which like by their customers from the beginning.
