The founder cum owner, Lim Soon Lai (Ah Lai), also the restaurant’s recent Main Chef, who at his age of 41 years old currently been initially stepped into the f&b industry at his only 13th of age began as a kitchen trainee at hometown Jenjarom in year 1995. Later-on being positioned as a Chinese Cuisine Chef at his about 20th of age, been reached Singapore & Indonesia to further his exposure & experienced all the while in the chinese cuisine field with his patience along his culinary journey. Also been running a partnership restaurant at hometown in year 2016, and running his home-based catering career at Banting, Selangor respectively in circumstances.

With experiences and recipes on-hand, added with vision to have his own eating house locally and foreseeing the market opportunity in the f&b industry enabled Ah Lai (together with wife Yanti) decided then successfully established their couple-owned Chinese Home-Cooked Recipe Eating House officially named the “Ah Gong Seafood Restaurant” in the year 2018 along Jalan Melati, Sungai Jarom at Jenjarom, Selangor serving all their signatures to the public. And finally being recognised among the best in town by the Malaysian F&B E-Media for the year 2023 on middle nation at Selangor.

In this Ah Gong Home-Cooked Recipe Restaurant, the owners’ very first top recommended in menus will be their signature “Salt-Steamed Village Chicken” which most wanted by their regulars all the while.
