OUTSTANDING CLAYPOT CURRY FISH HEAD PRESENTED IN THE TEOW CHEW BAK KUT TEH RESTAURANT

The South Malaysian, Johor origin Mr. Boo Liang Kia also well known Ah Soon originated from Johor Jaya who is the founder and the recent owner of the “JJ Bak Kut Teh” fully stepped and explore in the food and beverage industry in the year 1997 at his age of about 38 years old, and established his very own enterpreneur restaurant in the year 1999 at Kajang, Selangor.

Before Ah Soon concentrating in the f&b industry, he was a part-time insurance agent in the year 1992 at his age of 30 years old at his hometown Johor, while helping in his elder brother’s bak kut teh food stall which he touched the f&b industry, for about 4 years. Unfortunately at his age of 35 years old he quit the industry and fully exposed in the insurance industry for another few years, due to unsatisfied performance Ah Soon again re-step into the food industry helping in his brother’s stall for another 2 years to experience the bak kut teh recipe.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Later in the year 1999, Ah Soon decided to start his entrepreneur and expose his brother’s recipe then travelled all the way to Selangor to establish his bak kut teh restaurant at Jalan Wan Siew, Kajang operating the QQ Bak Kut Teh with the assist by his wife Ms. Toh Swee Geok. Improvement in his bak kut teh recipe enable Ah Soon to expand then established his JJ Bak Kut Teh (Johor Jaya Bak Kut Teh) after about 8 years in the year 2007 at his recent location. Ah Soon who also with the vision to further expand his bak kut teh career to open up his second outlet and hoping to generated pass-on to his next generation, his son Winson Boo.

In the restaurant, his claypot teow chew JJ bak kut teh soup for sure will be the most recommended which boiled from 18 different types of chinese herbal and ingredients such as ‘Tang Gui’, ‘Gei Ji’, ‘Yong Sam Shou’ and others. Meat (Pork) which take out from the soup based after an hour boiled to keep the freshness of the meat and present the eatery chewing taste when put the meat in mouth. Besides, he also present his homemade recipe Dry Bak Kut Teh with the mixture of lady finger, dry chili, ‘chili padi’ and dry roast cuttle fish slice cooked with his recipe sauce in claypot is also one of the most wanted by his visitors. Other, Ah Soon too recommend his very Signature Claypot Curry Fish Head using ‘Hung Jou Fish’ and ‘Grouper Fish’ head cooked in claypot with their homemade recipe curry paste, which taste slightly hot. His homemade ‘santan’ curry paste cooked mix of ‘chili padi’ and other curry ingredients make the dish satisfied to have.  Somemore, the vinegar ginger stewed pork leg boiled 45 minutes with ginger and black vinegar also frequently ordered by his visitors.  Nonetheless, Ah Soon also presents his new signature Dry Deep Fried Pork Meat with ‘Nam Yu’ to bring more choice to his customers to taste of.
