Ng Hun Hi who with his age of 71 years old currently, been about twenty years in construction industry having great interest in eatery and chefing initially stepped into the food industry since year 2000 at his age of 60 years old running a food stall in the “Lau You Kee Kopitiam”(pronouns) in Johor Bahru began his f&b career introduced his bitter gourd soup for about 7 years before returned to home town Malacca joined a chinese cuisine restaurant presenting his recipe along Jalan Bachang.
While nephew Ng Ee Leng or known Ah Loong who with his age of 40 years old recently, formerly was in Singapore practised in Printing Industry returned to Malacca joined the Agriculture Industry, since teenagers also interested in chefing been teached and recipe passed onto by his uncle Mr. Ng Hun Hi enabled him to stepped into the f&b industry established his very first and owned eating house named “Chuang Hee Ku Gua Tang” in year 2012 at his age of 38 at Malim Jaya, Malacca. Being assisted by eldest sister and sister-in-law.
In the restaurant, the top recommended menu by founder will be their Signature Bitter Gourd Soup. Which soup base boiled for 8 hours with giant bones and their 4 recipe ingredients mixture then served with bitter gourd slices and option mixed of either pork slice, pork minced meat, intestine, liver, pork stomach or fish fillet added into salted veges presenting an authentic recipe taste of soup you cannot missed when reached Malacca.
